Bending acrylic is fairly straightforward. Simply warm it up until it goes soft, and then bend it.

I am in the process of making an acrylic bending machine. Like most other acrylic bending machines, it consists of a nichrome hot-wire, a power-supply and a table with a hinge.

Instead of a variostat, I will use the speed-controller for R/C aircraft, to control the wire temperature.
